We both always wanted a homestead in the country. A few acres. A big garden. Some trees. Some goats. A chance to reclaim a measure of the self-sufficiency that we remember from our childhoods and miss in our increasingly interconnected adulthoods. So now we have a little house in the country and a lot of grass to mow.
We’re just two people living on three acres, figuring it all out as we go. We love it so much we thought we’d write about it here. Maybe share some of the interesting things that have happened to us. Maybe share some of the interesting things we’ve learned.
